VERY lucky I know haha!! I agree too the AC10 IS gorgeous. I’ve had good luck with all amps I’ve ever had though, new or used. I do worry about it going on the fritz though. I don’t mind that at all and and from the times I’ve played either one, I think the AC10 pulls it off great!! Yeah I believe it to be close to a hybrid, almost like the Blackstar HT range where there is SS in the flavin stages. The WOW that is a blast to play and does so much all in one side of me says the Vox.Īnyone here with experience with both? Thanks! Seems more “professional” in the quality department? Seems to be built a bit better, less to go wrong. I know this amp has more headroom which is good for pedals and playing out. It’s even more compact (to a detriment though? Is it boxy?) has more power, is it louder? I know it has no master volume which is good and bad. I do have a good amount of pedals though and I am also very intrigued by the Fender. I can already say I LOVE the Vox and I know it’ll do the job. This combo is gonna be used for more Neil Young, Tom Petty, Who, oldies, classics, rockabilly, rock, all that. I have ALL the rig I need for this side in a great Phaez half stack. Their are two sides of my playing now really, loud and heavy, riff and lead stuff. I’m going to be using this small combo as a portable upstairs/downstairs amp, out of the house jamming and studio stuff too. I’ve worked myself from finding a used Pathfinder up to something a litttttle more robust, of course ugh hahaha.
